Last December, Dunes Capital acquired a majority stake in Preventvaccins. A vaccination specialist focused on travel (Vaccinatiesopreis.nl) and professional vaccinations based in the Netherlands. Their nurses and doctors advise more than 25,000 travelers annually from 26 locations in the Netherlands. The required vaccinations are administered directly on own locations. Moreover, HBO/MBO students and company workforces are advised and vaccinated at their own premises.

Entrepreneur Rogier Hoogenbosch retains a minority interest in the company and will remain involved as commercial director. Henk Siereveld has been appointed as operational director.

Preventvaccins has been able to grow strongly in recent years to become one of the larger independent vaccination specialists in the Netherlands in a short period of time. Dunes Capital has a long-term horizon and will support the company with further growth. Hedde Verhagen of Dunes Capital: ‘The coverage ratio will be increased by opening new locations in the Netherlands. At the moment we are strongly represented in a few provinces and we ultimately want to build a strong presence in each province in order to provide our customers with the best possible service. We also intend to broaden our services at existing and new locations. ”
